TN CM Jayalalithaa in New Delhi demands P Chidambaram resignation

Tamil Nadu chief minister (CM) Jayalalithaa arrived New Delhi for the first time after taking the charge as a chief minister. Jayalalithaa went to New Delhi to meet the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Jayalalithaa demanded the resignation of Home Minister P Chidambaram and accused him for attaining a victory through fraud methods in the Lok Sabha elections. She also said that she will not be calling Sonia Gandhi as the party to which she belongs still has alliances with DMK.

Jayalalithaa met the leaders of both allies and rival parties. She met chief minister of Delhi Sheila Dikshit, Ravi Shankar Prasad and CPI leader D Raja.
