Praveen Kumar was caught in an ugly spat with fans in England as the team bus tried to exit the ground after practice match against Nothamptonshire. Indians are known to ravish praise when the Indian Cricket Team does well and abuse them when they do not. This has been the phenomenon in Indian cricket for decades. There have been many instances of players loosing their cool against fans who abuse them for their below par performance.
Indian swing bowler Praveen Kumar was caught up in one such incident when he got out of the team bus and charged with a bat in hand. Suresh Raina is said to have played the role of a peace maker when he lunged and brought the pacer back to the bus. The same incident repeated itself with Praveen Kumar but the stewards had restrained him from getting physical with the fans. There were also reports that he allegedly caught a fan by the collar and abused him verbally before security staff handled the fan to the police.
This is not the first instance of player abusing fans. Yuvraj Singh was once caught up in a similar incident with fans and Harbhajan Singh has also been in the receiving end.
