Censor Board asked major cuts in Bejawada before release 2 Dec

Scheduled to be released in December 2, 2011, Naga Chaitanya’s latest film Bejawada is said to have few problems in getting censor board clearance certifications. It is revealed that the censor board felt that the film might ignite troubles, as it is based on some communities facing sensitive issues.

The director of the film Vivek Krishna is said to have shot some very sensitive issues in the film. Grapevine has it that the censor board has asked the makers to remove those scenes from the film amounting to about twenty major cuts. The filmmakers are very unhappy with the developments and have forwarded the film to the revision committee for additional assessment.

Bejawada is been produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru under the banner of Sreya productions. The leading female role in the film is played by cute Amala Paul.

Let’s wait and see what it takes for the censor board to clear this film Bejawada.
