Fast food consumers 51% more chances to be victim of depression

The researchers have claimed that fast foods may lead to depression. Earlier, we enjoyed having all junk foods like potato fries, flavored wafers, pizzas, Burgers and of course cream cakes, but now one has to rethink about it before consuming them.

The recent study of scientists from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and University of Granada says that those who eat fast food are 51 percent more likely to be victims of depression as compared to others who eat less of fast food or those who do not eat fast food at all. The lead author Almudena Sanchez-Villegas in the report said that, 'the more fast food you consume, the greater the risk of depression.

The Research further throws light concerning the personality of the individual whose intake of such fast foods. The chances are more for those who take more junk foods in their daily life to stay single. They also possess the characteristics of working overtime per week and smoking. These obviously end up with unhealthy and unpleasant persona.
