Owing to an eye injury and operation followed by thereafter, veteran South Africa wicketkeeper Mark Boucher has announced his announcement on Tuesday from international cricket.
He underwent with an eye surgery due to laceration on his left eyeball. He was hit by a ball against England in Taunton on Monday. He left the field with his bleeding eye.
Surgery followed him there after twenty four hours. Also, he announced his retirement. South African wicket keeper Boucher was spotted saying that he never expected his retirement in such a way and also thanked his fans who were always there for their support.
He thanked all the cricket fans who prayed for him for his well being. He is the first wicketkeeper to take 500 wickets in test cricket.
