Australia (AUS Vs WI T20 cup) beat West Indies by 17 runs Duckworth Lewis method (D/L method) in T20 Twenty World Cup Cricket played at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.

West Indies Won the toss and elected to bat.

WestIndies batsmen C Gayle & Marlon Samuels scored 54 & 50 runs respectively. They gave target of 191 runs in lost of 8 wickets.

Australian batsmen D Warner, Shane Watson & M Hussey scored 28, 41 & 28 respectively.

Warner caught by Ramdin bowled by Fedle Edwards.

M Hussey & Shane Watson scored 70 runs in partnership.

West Indies had badluck coz of heavy rainfalls, they played well but not succeeded.

Australian scored 100 runs by loosing one wicket in 9.1 overs,  good run rate in camparison with West Indies innings declared them as winners.
