Producers Union wants actors to remit for their own staff’s wages

Actors maybe charging a lot of money for a single movie which producers seem happy to invest in.

But the extra cost of pampering the celebrities is coming off as an easily removable liability.

Mukesh Bhatt, a Film VP and TV Producer union confirmed that many staffs of the actors are demanding for a steep amount. Akshay Kumar's body guard Shree charges nearly in crores from the producers, says a source.

The everyday staffs, on the sets of a movie includes employees from hair & make up, artistes, spot boy, drivers, personal trainers etc are generally paid by the producer.

The total monthly cost of the luxury items given by the producers can cost them up to 1-2 core rupees. The costs may be around 50,000rs per day, per actor.

So if there is a movie with a multi-star cast them you can imagine how much expensive it can get.
