Ek Tha Tiger which stars Salman Khan is set to become the first ever Bollywood movie to be shot in Iraq. The movie Ek Tha Tiger is directed by Kabir Khan and is produced by Yash Raj Films. The movie is said to be a romantic thriller and has has Katrina Kaif starring opposite to Salman Khan. This is also Salman Khan's first sign up with Yashraj Films and is expected to be a big budget movie. The film is expected to be completed and released during the middle of the year 2012.
The latest news about the movie is that an action sequence is to be shot in Iraq. The country Iraq has been suffering with war and many other problems for quite sometime now. It is said that Yash Raj Films have written to the government of Iraq to seek permission to shoot the action sequence in Iraq. Sources reveal that the government of Iraq has also rendered a warm welcome to the team and have also arranged for all the necessary security that they might require in the country. The production house has taken the permission of Salman Khan before writing to the government of Iraq and the actor was said to be very excited about the possibility of shooting in Iraq.
It is even said that the government has arranged for helicopters that would be necessary for the crew to travel to the places where the shot is to be taken. If all goes well Ek Tha Tiger will be the first Bollywood movie to be shot in Iraq.
